🍽️ Vernon Restaurant Check Out

📍 Eatology This brunch spot is absolutely delicious… A popular local restaurant with constant lines, but after eating here, I can confidently say—worth the price, worth the wait. The servers were super friendly too! Plain Pancake (3 stacks) – Thought it wouldn’t be huge, but oh boy, was I wrong. Thick, fluffy, and savory—so good that even when full, I kept thinking, "Damn, this is amazing." 😭👌 Apple Cheesecake Topping – Optional, but a nice touch. Waffle – Soft & slightly salty (my preference over hard waffles). French Toast – Always a favorite, and they nailed it. Mac & Cheese – Started great, but too much garlic & green onion later—almost nauseating. ☕ Drinks: Caramel Macchiato – Bitter-leaning, but seeing people inside sipping it cozily while we waited in the cold made me order it. Not bad, but the warmth inside killed my coffee cravings. Affogato – SO GOOD. The ice cream (unknown brand) was perfect, though it got too sweet once melted. Mostly ordered sweets, but Google Maps recommends Western-style eggs Benedict & Mexican dishes… Eatology, I approve! We are Eatologists now. 📍 Raku Rice & Noodle Bar Went here because Eatology’s portions were massive, and I craved matcha parfait (rare in this small town) + a proper meal. Raku Ramen – Probably their signature, but not my vibe (though the noodles were decent). Ellie’s Vermicelli (Kids Menu) – Expected Chinese-style rice noodles, but got supermarket pho-like noodles. Not bad, but the sukiyaki-style beef was the star—first bite was heavenly, though I lost interest later (blame the pancake food coma). Wasn’t planning to review this place, but Eatology’s pancakes left such an impression… Vernon, you might just be better than Kelowna… if only the weather were nicer. 🌨️🤷‍♀️ #VernonEats #BrunchGoals #Eatology #RakuNoodles #FoodieAdventures
