🍽️ What I Ate in Madison This Week!
Eating options in Madison are kinda limited… makes me miss big city life already 🏙️😅 Here’s what I had this week: 🌯 Chipotle – Finally tried it after 2 years in the U.S.! I avoided it before ’cause campus Mexican food wasn’t my thing, but Chipotle? So good!!! 👍 🍲 A8 Chinese Fast Food – Not my usual spot, but lots of int'l students eat here. Good for a quick solo meal — though a bit oily 🫢. 🍕 Domino’s Pizza & 🍣 Sushi Express – My friend ordered Domino’s — $9.99 with unlimited toppings! I craved sushi — their salmon slices are nice and thick. 🍗 Raising Cane’s – Love their Texas toast and tender chicken tenders! Pro drink tip: try half unsweet tea + half lemonade 🍋➗☕ — so refreshing! 🍢 Izakaya Kuroyama – Late-night Japanese skewers! Their grilled sweet potato was okay, a bit pricey but hits the spot on weekends. 🍝 Cheesecake Factory – Got chicken and shrimp pasta. Portions are HUGE — and you can’t go wrong with classic cheesecake for dessert 🍰! 🌭 Auntie Anne’s – Tried their pretzel dogs for the first time — tasty but a little expensive for a snack. 👩🍳 Home-cooked Meals: Celery stir-fry with shrimp 🍤 + Northeastern-style egg & chili sauce — amazing over rice! Homemade Japanese curry chicken 🍛 — I can finish a whole bowl every time! Cooking skills leveling up 🧑🍳✨ — guess every study-abroad student becomes a chef eventually! #MadisonEats #FoodDiary #InternationalStudentLife #CookingAtHome #Madison
