🇦🇱 Albania Travel Guide: Where to Eat in Saranda
🏝️ July and August are peak vacation months in Europe. To avoid crowds, we chose a cheap, fun, and delicious hidden gem—Saranda. For seafood lovers, this place is heaven! Greek-quality seafood at Albanian prices—so affordable it’ll make UK residents cry. ✨ Pro Tip: Trust Google Reviews! Restaurants with 4.6+ ratings and 500+ reviews rarely disappoint. Generally, spots closer to the city center are pricier and less impressive. We preferred taking a 20-minute taxi to newly developed areas outside the center—better flavor, service, and value! Recommended restaurants average ~1500 LEK per person (including drinks) 👇 1️⃣ Taverna Fish-Time 📍 Rruga Abedin Dino 140, Saranda, Albania ⭐ Rating: 4.8/5 📝 Tips: Chinese-friendly! The spiciest crab —super satisfying. Must-try: fish soup (rich and flavorful!). 2️⃣ Alnes Restaurant 📍 3rd Km Sarande - Butrint, Sarandë 9701, Albania ⭐ Rating: 4.9/5 📝 Tips: Sashimi to die for 💥—best I’ve had in my life! Seafood platter feeds two easily. A bit far from downtown—better to drive. 3️⃣ Bar-Restorant Korali 📍 Rruga Butrint km2, Sarande 9701, Albania ⭐ Rating: 4.2/5 📝 Tips: Huge portions but average taste. Fish soup isn’t as good as #1. 10-min walk from downtown, near popular beach clubs—still a safe bet. 4️⃣ SOPHRA | Traditional Albanian Restaurant Saranda 📍 Rruga Turizmi Kanali 'Cukës, Saranda, Sarande 9701, Albania ⭐ Rating: 4.7/5 📝 Tips: Wine pours are shockingly generous 🍷! Stunning views—perfect for sunset drinks. Greek-inspired decor, great for dates! #AlbaniaTravel #AlbanianFood #Saranda #SarandaFood #UKWorkLife
