🇦🇺 4 Days 3 Nights Tasmania Road Trip Guide 🚗💨

Day 1｜Hobart City Picked up the car at the airport – just 20 mins to the city 🚙 Stayed at Grande Vue Hotel – highly recommended French-style villa! 🏡 Some great walk-in dining spots 🍽️: Suzie Luck's Res&Bar Peppina (Italian 🇮🇹) Suzysuzy (wine & bites 🍷) Day 2｜Maria Island Day Trip 🐻 Drove from Hobart → Triabunna Ferry Terminal (~1 hr) Ferry to the island: 45 mins, $48/person return ⚠️ Note: The island closes sometimes in June–August – check ferry schedules in advance! Recommended route: After getting off the ferry, turn right – wombats everywhere within 10 mins! 🦥 So cute I wanted to smuggle one home 😍 Walk further to Painted Cliffs 🎨 (check tide times – high tide can block the path!) Left side near the pier has open grasslands with hopping kangaroos 🦘 🍞 No shops on the island – bring water & snacks from IGA near the terminal! Day 3｜Bruny Island Day Trip Drove to Kettering Ferry Terminal (~45 mins) Car ferry: 30 mins, $53/car, departs every 20 mins 🚢 Must-visit spots: Get Shucked Oyster Farm 🦪 – even non-oyster-lovers will be converted! Honey Factory – free tastings, amazing ice cream 🍯 The Neck Lookout – iconic twin bays view 🌊 White wallabies are often spotted near 906 Adventure Bay Rd… but we didn’t see any 😢 Day 4｜Port Arthur Cruise + Hobart Night View Drove ~1.5 hrs to Port Arthur Historic Site wharf Joined a 3-hour wilderness cruise ($150/person) – saw dolphins, whales, and sea lions sunbathing on cliffs! 🐬🐋🦭 💊 Take motion sickness pills – it gets rocky like a pirate ship! 🏴‍☠️ In the afternoon, drove back to the city and stopped by Rosny Hill Lookout on the way to the airport – stunning night views with fewer people than Mount Wellington! 🌃 Next time, Tasmania… I hope to meet the legendary white wallaby and that shy wombat that got away 🦘💨 Hope this guide helps fellow travelers – may every journey be joyful and full! 💐 #Tasmania #TasTravel #AustraliaRoadTrip #Wombat #TravelGuide #Hobart #BrunyIsland
