๐ฆ๐บ Hobart 4 Days 4 Nights๏ฝA Lazy & Cozy Itinerary ๐๏ธ๐ค
Spent the long holiday exploring Hobart and its surroundings โ woke up naturally every day, drank naturally every night ๐โจ Day โ ๐ฎ Salamanca Market > ๐ถ๐ปโโ๏ธ City Walk Saturday only! Lots of unique crafts + delicious food. Tried Spanish paella and scallop skewers โ pretty good! Stalls selling local specialties: honey, lavender products, crystal minerals, and plenty of alcohol โ wine, gin, whiskey, you name it! โ Tasmanian Museum & Art Gallery โ highly recommended! ๐ Went aurora chasing at Taroona Beach at nightโฆ no luck though. If you see it, youโre truly blessed! Day โก ๐ข Bruny Island Day Trip Just hit all the classic spots โ no need to overplan: Whiskey House > Get Shucked Oysters ๐ฆช > Cheese Factory ๐ง > The Bakery ๐ > Honey Shop ๐ฏ > The Neck Lookout ๐ > Adventure Bay โ ๏ธ Ferry wait can be long โ go early! ๐ฆ White wallabies are rare here โ for animals, go to Zoodoo instead. ๐ฏ Manuka honey is NOT considered liquid โ you can bring it on the plane. Day โข ๐ Richmond Town > Zoodoo Wildlife Park ๐ฆ Honey cake at Czegsโ Cafรฉ โ so good! ๐ฏ ๐ฆ Ducklings everywhere near Richmond Bridge โ super cute! Zoodoo is just 10 mins away โ closest animal encounters Iโve ever had! Met camels ๐ซ, lions ๐ฆ, kangaroos (including white ones!), sheep ๐, wombats (canโt hold them) โ so much fun! Day โฃ โช๏ธ MONA > ๐๏ธ Mount Wellington > Cascade Brewery Co. ๐บ MONA is a must โ weird and wonderful! Free entry after 4 PM (but only 1 hour before closing at 5). Thereโs an adults-only trampoline โ saw parents jumping while babies watched ๐ โ Skip eating at FARO โ just grab a coffee. Foodโs mediocre according to reviews. โ๏ธ Mount Wellington is FREEZING โ couldnโt even enjoy the view. Cascade Brewery is nearby โ perfect to warm up with beer! ๐ฝ๏ธ Food highlights: Most meals were just okay, but the white wines were great ๐พ (except Frogmore Creek Riesling โ way too sweet, avoid it!) Bottle shops in Tassie close late โ drink up! ๐ฅ #Travel #NatureLovers #Tasmania #Hobart #FoodAndDrink #LocalGuide #AustraliaDiaries
