🇦🇺 Hobart 4 Days 4 Nights｜A Lazy & Cozy Itinerary 🏔️💤

Spent the long holiday exploring Hobart and its surroundings – woke up naturally every day, drank naturally every night 🛌✨ Day ① 🌮 Salamanca Market > 🚶🏻‍♀️ City Walk Saturday only! Lots of unique crafts + delicious food. Tried Spanish paella and scallop skewers – pretty good! Stalls selling local specialties: honey, lavender products, crystal minerals, and plenty of alcohol – wine, gin, whiskey, you name it! ✅ Tasmanian Museum & Art Gallery – highly recommended! 🌌 Went aurora chasing at Taroona Beach at night… no luck though. If you see it, you’re truly blessed! Day ② 🚢 Bruny Island Day Trip Just hit all the classic spots – no need to overplan: Whiskey House > Get Shucked Oysters 🦪 > Cheese Factory 🧀 > The Bakery 🍞 > Honey Shop 🍯 > The Neck Lookout 🌊 > Adventure Bay ⚠️ Ferry wait can be long – go early! 🦘 White wallabies are rare here – for animals, go to Zoodoo instead. 🍯 Manuka honey is NOT considered liquid – you can bring it on the plane. Day ③ 🏠 Richmond Town > Zoodoo Wildlife Park 🦘 Honey cake at Czegs’ Café – so good! 🍯 🦆 Ducklings everywhere near Richmond Bridge – super cute! Zoodoo is just 10 mins away – closest animal encounters I’ve ever had! Met camels 🐫, lions 🦁, kangaroos (including white ones!), sheep 🐑, wombats (can’t hold them) – so much fun! Day ④ ⚪️ MONA > 🏔️ Mount Wellington > Cascade Brewery Co. 🍺 MONA is a must – weird and wonderful! Free entry after 4 PM (but only 1 hour before closing at 5). There’s an adults-only trampoline – saw parents jumping while babies watched 😂 ☕ Skip eating at FARO – just grab a coffee. Food’s mediocre according to reviews. ❄️ Mount Wellington is FREEZING – couldn’t even enjoy the view. Cascade Brewery is nearby – perfect to warm up with beer! 🍽️ Food highlights: Most meals were just okay, but the white wines were great 🍾 (except Frogmore Creek Riesling – way too sweet, avoid it!)
