🇨🇦|If You Only Have One Meal in Ottawa, I Recommend This Spot

#FoodieNavigator This brunch spot is packed with locals—and for good reason! 😊 We discovered this Ottawa brunch gem through our Canadian friends, who love it so much they’d even make the trip from Toronto just to eat here 🚗. 🔔 The restaurant is super popular, so booking ahead is a must on weekends. We visited on a weekday around 11 AM and luckily got a table right away. The space is small but charming, with a cozy, welcoming vibe 🏡! ❤️ What makes it special? Many of their ingredients come straight from local farmers, so everything tastes incredibly fresh 🌱. We ordered two dishes: a “Duck Benedict” (my playful nickname for it) and a meatball burger. Duck Benedict The base is a perfectly crispy English muffin, layered with caramelized apples, tender duck, and a runny poached egg 🦆. One bite delivers an amazing mix of textures and flavors: the crunch of the muffin, the sweetness of the apples, the savory richness of the duck, and the silky yolk that ties it all together. It’s their signature dish for a reason—absolute must-try 🌟! Meatball Burger This burger is huge, perfect for sharing (or indulging solo if you’re hungry) 🍔! The meatballs are juicy and packed with aromatic herbs that add depth to every bite. Served on a soft, fresh bun with all the classic fixings, it’s hearty, satisfying, and full of homey flavor 🤤. ✨ A quick shoutout to their house mayo—it’s fantastic with fries 🍟! Creamy, rich, and subtly seasoned without any harsh tang, it’s the ideal dipping sauce to complement the meal. 📍 Wilf & Ada’s Brunch #RestaurantRecommendations #HiddenGemRestaurants #GlobalFoodTours #WeekendEats #Canada #Ottawa #OttawaFood #BrunchLovers
