🇨🇦 Calgary: The Gateway to Banff, Canada 🏔️
The first stop of our Banff adventure is Calgary — the largest city in the Canadian Prairies and the perfect starting point for a trip to the Rockies! (I bet most of you begin your journey here too 😉). One day is enough to hit the main spots in the city, and the best part? They’re all pretty close together! We used Uber to get around — super convenient. Didn’t rent a car since parking can be a hassle downtown. 📍 Calgary Central Library A stunning piece of modern architecture 🏛️ featuring glass, steel, and wood that creates a bright and open atmosphere. Perfect for photos and a quick visit! 📍 Convention Centre We started our city walk from here — downtown is pretty compact and easy to explore on foot. No strict route needed! 🚶♀️🌆 📍 Calgary Tower You can go up for a 360° view of the city (there’s a glass floor too!), but we just snapped some pics from the outside. Still awesome! 📸 📍 Prince’s Island Park Close to Chinatown, this park is full of greenery, shady paths, and morning joggers 🏞️. The Peace Bridge is also nearby — such a peaceful spot! 🍽️ Caesar's Steakhouse You can’t visit Canada without trying steak, right? 🥩 I ordered the Brant Lake Wagyu Ribeye — absolutely delicious! 😋 ☕ Tim Hortons A Canadian classic! Pretty good for a quick coffee or snack. 🧋 Tiger Sugar Bubble tea is a must, especially near Chinatown! 🐯🍬 Calgary is such a clean and welcoming city with reasonable prices. This lovely first impression has me even more excited for what’s next — Banff, here we come! 🌈 #HiddenGems #TravelCanada #Calgary #UrbanRomance #NorthAmericanLife #Banff #TravelGuide #FoodAndTravel 🗺️✨
