I had a short but amazing three-day, two-night trip to Calgary (mostly for my U.S. visa appointment), and here are the places and foods I tried! ποΈ ATTRACTIONS π Calgary Tower You can see this iconic tower from all over the city! I didnβt go up β but it looks great in photos from the ground too! πΈ π Peace Bridge The interior was under renovation when I went ποΈ, but the views along both sides of the river were still lovely! π π Olympic Plaza A beautiful park with a fountain that glows under the sunlight β²οΈ. I couldβve spent the whole day chilling on the steps β so relaxing! 𦦠π Wonderland Sculpture Went around sunset β the sculpture against the blue glass buildings and golden lights made for a perfect shot! π π Random Downtown Intersection Even the crosswalks and streets have charm! π¦ π RCMP Encounter Spotted a Royal Canadian Mounted Police officer on the street β so cool! π¨ββοΈπ¨π¦ π½οΈ RESTAURANTS π Redheads Japa Cafe βοΈβοΈβοΈ A must-visit curry spot! π We tried their signature curry rice, curry noodles, and chicken salad β all delicious! π Namo Cafe Bistro βοΈβοΈβοΈ Brunch highlight: the Angus Brisket! π₯© Tender beef with poached egg, potato wedges, spinach, and cheese sauce β absolutely heavenly π€©. The mango passion fruit crepe was just okay though. π Fortunaβs Row βοΈβοΈ A Latin American restaurant with gorgeous dΓ©cor β great for photos! πΈ The soft shell crab Arepa and Milhojas dessert were tasty, but the ribeye and scallop ceviche were underwhelming. π PORCH βοΈ Cute brunch spot with pretty dΓ©cor π, but the food was overly salty. Not recommended. π Shang Shang Qian Skewers βοΈ The cilantro beef skewers were decent, but the rest were just average. A bit disappointing. π§ DESSERTS & DRINKS π Parlour Ice Cream βοΈβοΈβοΈ A popular ice cream shop β the Salted Caramel and Pistachio flavors are incredible! π¦One scoop is huge β highly recommend! π Village Ice Cream βοΈβοΈ Candy Jar flavor = yummy π¬, but the Melted Chocolate was just okay. π« π Royaltea βοΈβοΈ Lychee Green Tea with Salted Cheese Foam π₯β refreshing and delicious! #Calgary #CalgaryFood #CalgaryLife #CalgaryTravel #ExploreCalgary #FoodDiary ποΈπ΄β¨
