🇨🇦 Day Trip from Montreal | Burlington, Vermont, USA 🇺🇸

Just 2 hours from Montreal (and close to NYC/Boston too!), Burlington is a cute little American town—though much smaller than expected! 😅 (Check my previous post for Canada→USA border-crossing tips 🚗🛂) Visited during Easter in March—not the best season, TBH. Bare trees, melting snow sludge, and a freezing waterfront walk in 0°C wind! 🌬️❄️ ✅ What We Did: 📍 Church Street The one main street downtown (yes, really that small!). Cute church & shops. 📍 Waterfront Park Pretty lakeside views… if you can handle the cold! 🥶 📍 Burlington Beer Company 🍻 Great spot for craft beer & food! 📍 Ben & Jerry’s Factory 🍦 The original factory! Tour includes: Fun history video 🎥 Production line peek Free ice cream sample "Flavor Graveyard" (RIP discontinued flavors) ⚰️ 📌 *1281 Waterbury-Stowe Rd, VT 05676* 📍 Vermont Teddy Bear Factory 🧸 Adorable (if slightly kid-focused) tour—$5 to see how stuffed bears are made! 📍 ECHO Leahy Center 🐠 Small science museum (tickets required). 💡 Honest Review: Burlington is tiny—great for a quick stop, but best in fall (foliage! 🍁) or winter (skiing! ⛷️).
