Stumbled Upon Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream Factory! 🍦
Stumbled Upon Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream Factory! 🍦 Who would’ve thought! We randomly stumbled upon Ben & Jerry’s ice cream factory in Vermont—turns out this North American favorite is a proud Vermont brand! Its headquarters is just a 30-minute drive from Burlington, a total unplanned surprise that made us want to jump for joy~ 🥳 It was snowing heavily that day ❄️, and as we turned into the road leading to the factory, we were instantly charmed: the building’s soft pink-blue and cream colors, set against falling snowflakes, looked straight out of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory—so whimsical it felt unreal~ Even the snowflakes seemed to add a romantic filter, making every photo look like a movie still 📸 We bought two big pints at the gift shop, planning to scarf them down quickly in the car. But as we lifted the lids, we laughed at the scene outside: a few Vermonters, bundled in thick coats, were holding ice cream cones too! They were slurping cold cream while throwing snowballs at each other, their laughter audible through the windows~ 😂 Eating ice cream in a snowstorm and having this much fun—guess that’s northern joy for you! Watching them with red noses and huge grins felt so endearing and heartwarming~ We took a big bite of our chocolate chunk flavor, and the icy sweetness on our tongues somehow felt perfect with the snowy view outside—such a weirdly wonderful harmony~ 🍫 Later we learned Ben & Jerry’s started in Vermont back in 1978, which explains why locals love it so much—even a blizzard can’t stop their craving for that sweetness~ This little detour was totally worth it: we checked off a childhood brand headquarters and witnessed Vermont’s winter magic. Suddenly, we felt like part of their snowy day party too~ 💕 #Burlington#Vermont#MontrealArea#USDayTrip#CrossBorderTravel
