🇨🇦 This chimney cake near the falls is something special 🌭️
On the way to Niagara Falls, we passed through the town of Niagara-on-the-Lake – it’s totally worth a stop! There are lots of wineries along the way 🍷, and the main street of the town has a unique, charming style that’s perfect for photos 📸. We noticed a long line of locals outside this chimney cake shop, so we decided to give it a try. I randomly picked the sausage-stuffed chimney cake advertised outside – and wow, it was surprisingly delicious 😋! 🔥 Chimney Sausage – 12.5 CAD The outer layer is crispy and savory, with a nice crunch, while the inner bread is chewy but not hard at all! Pairing it with the sausage works so well 🤤. The crispy outer layer is slightly salty, and I think they sprinkled a little sugar on top too – such a nice balance. No regrets with this choice! They have tons of other flavors, both sweet and savory. You can eat the chimney cake plain, or get it filled with cream, chocolate sauce, or even turned into a sandwich with veggies and ham 🥪. If you’re struggling to find good food near the falls, head over here to satisfy your cravings – you won’t be disappointed! 📍 Budapest Bakeshop 118 Queen St, Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON L0S 1J0 🅿️ There’s parking on both sides of the main street – convenient! #TorontoLife #Toronto #TorontoFoodAndFun #TorontoEats #NiagaraFalls #NiagaraTown #ChimneyCake #TorontoDayTrips #TorontoWeekendGetaways #LivingInToronto
