Worst service ever, guy working there told me you will get charge extra now because it’s more than 6 toppings. I asked him you should have told me before or write it somewhere only 6 toppings allowed. And he told me you should have known by yourself it’s everywhere rule, than I asked him I have never heard at other stores and I am quite regular at Quance and south store. Then his excuse was they have different owners. So what does it mean, policy changes according to owners??? And are we suppose to ask what is the policy before ordering stuff? Aren’t staff suppose to tell…????? And he is like you can leave if you don’t want.. lol (biggest shock) dude you guys need to learn customer service.. I am 9 month pregnant woman standing and waiting for you, firstly no smile on face As if working forcefully, and than showing ridiculous attitude with nonsense policy after wait. Read moreI came here just after they first opened and there was a strong smell of sewage inside. The smell was so bad we left without ordering. We went today and it is well over a year later and the smell has not been fixed. There is clearly a open sewer pipe somewhere in the restaurant. This place should be closed until it is addressed. There is fecal particles in the air and therefore in all the food. I expect many people have been made sick from here.
On top of that today they refused to serve me a serving of beef with no wrap. He said they don't do sides or special orders. I have been ordering a side of beef for my two year old daughter many times at the quance street location where we have been treated great for many years. So I left with nothing again. And I will tell anyone who will listen not to go there so they don't get sick. I will be calling the health inspector as soon as I'm finished writing...
Read moreThe food here is always great. Usually I’m pleased with the service, too. But my last visit here has soured my view of this restaurant, or really franchise in general.
The workers there told my friend and I that we could get 50% off if we got a full meal, so of course we agreed to do that. We go to pay, turns out it was only 50% off of the meat. Now, usually I’d give the benefit of the doubt, but both me and my friend were certain they said 50% off without specifying it was only 50% off of the meat.
This is very scummy techniques to get people to pay more than anticipated. I do not appreciate these techniques being used in a restaurant franchise as big as Prairie Donair.
