🇨🇦2-Hour Drive to 🇺🇸Town for Seafood Buffet🦞 Heard there’s an amazing Chinese seafood buffet in the US town of Burlington, so I grabbed my friends and headed over—who can resist the joy of gorging on seafood? 😋 We left Montreal around 10 AM, and after a 2-hour drive, we reached the US border in Vermont🛂. The officer asked a few simple questions like “Where are you going?” and “How long will you stay?”—we didn’t even have to get out of the car to enter. Smooth sailing all the way, and we arrived at the restaurant just after 12 PM, perfect timing for lunch! This buffet totally nailed Mother’s Day—they gave everyone a pair of slippers🩴 as a gift, practical and sweet! The buffet was $19.99 plus 10% tax, super affordable. The seafood spread was mind-blowing: plump Dungeness crabs🦀, red crawfish, fancy sushi… King crab legs were piled high, and just a few bites felt like we’d gotten our money’s worth. Seafood lovers, rejoice!🦞 We walked off the meal at Costco and picked up a watermelon🍉—only $8.99! I remembered seeing the same one in Montreal for $16.99, what a steal～ Then we checked out the Teddy Bear factory, where the fluffy bears were so cute I wanted to buy them all🐻. Strolling around town with nice weather, we were in great spirits～ Filled up the tank before leaving, and was shocked by the price: $3.69 per gallon, which is about $1.31 per liter! Montreal’s currently at $1.80 per liter, so this was such a good deal～ 🚗 Gotta say, with warmer weather, the greenery and road conditions here look way better than in Canada—clean and spacious. No wonder people always talk about wanting to head to the US! We ended the foodie trip with a McDonald’s burger, and it was still light out.
