🇨🇴 3 Days in Cartagena | Stepping into "Love in the Time of Cholera"

t's been almost a month since I returned from Colombia, and finally—here's my Cartagena recap! Domestic flights in Colombia make traveling between cities super convenient. My itinerary: Bogotá (1.5 days) → Medellín (3 days) → Cartagena (3 days). Cartagena is close to the U.S., with direct flights, so you'll meet many American tourists here. 🌟 Weather: Consistently over 30°C (86°F), and very humid—like living in a steamer every day! 🌟 Transport: The City Sightseeing bus 🚌 (around $10+) lets you explore the whole city, valid for 2 days. The city is divided into two main areas: the beachfront hotel zone and the stunning Old Town (full of colorful colonial houses). 🌟 Food: The Old Town has fantastic Caribbean-style restaurants—don't miss the seafood! 🌟 Shopping: La Serrezuela Mall (upscale, great for browsing). Skip the older mall in the beach area. #Colombia #ColombiaTravel #Cartagena #LoveInTheTimeOfCholera #BeachGetaway #TravelGuide
