Had to share—after four years in Darmstadt, I never managed to find truly authentic Sichuan cuisine. Everything always felt a bit off. Now that I’ve moved away, a friend recommended a newly opened spot. So after work today, a few buddies and I drove straight to Chuan Xiang Ba Shu… and finally got a taste of home! 🏡 The mala spice was perfectly balanced, and the aroma was incredibly authentic—with the very first bite, it really felt like being back in Sichuan.
