🇩🇪 Frankfurt’s Most Atmospheric Fine Dining Restaurants (Part 1️⃣

Perfect for dates or group gatherings — here are some upscale spots you have to try! 💓 As a Frankfurt finance pro who knows all about good food and fun, I’m taking advantage of the summer slowdown to share my personal favorite places. Part 1 and 2 focus on Western cuisine (Mediterranean, French, Greek, American). Stay tuned for Asian cuisine in Parts 3-4, patisseries in Part 5, top bars in 6-7, art/museums in Part 8, and other Frankfurt attractions in Part 9! 🍽️ 1️⃣ Main Nizza Mediterranean vibes and a killer view! Perfect for a sunny weekend lunch on the terrace — breezy, bright, and right by the river. 🌊 Must-order: The octopus is incredible! 🐙 The shrimp risotto is also great, but the steak is just okay. Heads-up: Service can be hit or miss — we had a rather unfriendly waitress. The indoor ambiance at night is magical ✨, and it’s open until 1 AM even on weekdays! Book a table on the veranda for the best views. 💶 €40-60 per person 🍽️ 2️⃣ Mon Amie Maxi A beautiful French-style restaurant — elegant, luminous, and luxurious. 💎 The crystal chandeliers are stunning… perfect for a romantic date! The foie gras is good but very rich — you’ll get tired of it quickly. The bone marrow is delicious — my first time seeing it outside of Chinese or French cuisine 😂 Also enjoyed the Beef Tartare with raw egg and the crab avocado salad 🥑 Fun fact: When I studied in France, supermarkets sold tripe, brains… all the things Germans frown upon 😅 💶 €40+ per person 🍽️ 3️⃣ The Ash An American chain with great ambiance — especially good for group dinners. The indoor lighting isn’t the most flattering for dates — orangey and direct 💡— but the terrace is lovely on a nice day. Specializes in steaks, lobster, fish, and burgers. Skip the lobster roll — it’s mediocre. But the sweet potato fries are a must! 🍠 The LOIN RIBS (beef ribs from the loin) are huge and perfect for sharing. Recommended by our waiter and definitely tasty!
