🇩🇪 Frankfurt | A Chengdu Local Finally Experiences Autumn 🍂
If I had to describe Frankfurt in one word, it would be “lazy.” I really love their way of life—slow and cozy. After living in London for a long time, I’ve grown to crave this unhurried rhythm 🕰️. The most exciting part? Experiencing autumn here! As someone who grew up in Chengdu, I haven’t seen a proper autumn in ages. And the biggest surprise was catching a stunning sunrise this morning—right from the 15th floor of my hotel! The sky painted in warm hues felt like a perfect gift 🌅. My Casual Itinerary I kept things super flexible—no strict plans, just wandering. The best part? Frankfurt’s top spots are all close to each other, so you can walk between them easily: 📍 Römerberg (Roman Square): The heart of the old town, with cute half-timbered houses and a calm vibe. 📍 Eiserner Steg (Iron Bridge): The iconic love-lock bridge with great views of the Main River. 📍 Main River: Strolling along the bank was so relaxing—perfect for soaking up the autumn sun. 📍 Frankfurter Dom (Frankfurt Cathedral): A striking Gothic spot that adds a touch of history to the walk ⛪. 📍 Practical Tips ✈️ Flights: I flew between Heathrow and Frankfurt. Note: Frankfurt has two airports—Hahn Airport is far, so stick to the main one for convenience! 🏨 Accommodation: Melia Frankfurt City—it takes only 15-20 minutes to the airport, and the hotel has nice rooms and great views. 🍜 Food: Tried Romer Pils Brunnen (Address: 60311 Frankfurt). The food was good—worth a visit! Average cost: around €30 per person. #Travel #Frankfurt #Germany #StudyAbroad #MyDailyLife
