🇩🇪 Frankfurt | One-Day Citywalk Guide

Note: During a business trip to Germany, I took a Friday train from Stuttgart to Frankfurt and spent Saturday exploring the city. Frankfurt's attractions are concentrated, so one day is plenty if you're not planning to shop 🛍️. I stayed near the main train station (Hauptbahnhof) at Le Meridien Frankfurt—a great starting point for a 25-minute walk to Römerberg the next day. 🗺️ Itinerary: I set off from the hotel at 8:30 AM. The best part? The attractions were almost empty—perfect for photos! By afternoon, the same spots were packed, so starting early really pays off. Euro Tower ➡️ Iron Bridge ➡️ Römerberg ➡️ Frankfurt Cathedral ➡️ St. Paul's Church ➡️ Goethe House ➡️ Goethe Street 🍽️ Food Guide: 💖 Lunch: Paulaner Am Dom Right next to Frankfurt Cathedral! If you sit outside, you can enjoy views of the cathedral while dining 🍽️. Must-tries: roasted pork knuckle, sausages, and local apple wine. ❤️ Afternoon Gelato Break Any gelato shop along the way will do 🍨. I tried passion fruit dark chocolate—absolutely divine 😋. 🧡 Dinner: ABACCO‘s Steakhouse 🇩🇪 Known as Germany’s No. 1 steakhouse! I highly recommend asking your hotel front desk to reserve a table in advance. #GermanyTravel #Frankfurt #ExploreGermany #EuropeTravel ✨🇩🇪
