Heard about this long-standing traditional place in Frankfurt and was super excited to try it⊠but it turned out to be a major letdown đ”âđ« đ Apple Wine - Extremely sour!! We asked for sugar, but after searching around, the server said they didnât have any⊠We ended up mixing it with a small bottle of Fanta to make it drinkable. đ Famous "Peach Whiskey" - It wasnât even peach inside⊠but a loquat?? Yeah, canned loquat in syrup with whiskey⊠weird combo. đ Their signature pork knuckle and other meat dishes - Tasteless and simply deep-fried without any seasoning. The skin was rock-hard, still had pig hair on it đŁ, and there was no sauce at all. Back in my hometown, weâd at least use five-spice and braise it properly! đ Pork sausage - Had some strange spices mixed in⊠not tasty at all. And about the portions⊠theyâre HUGE. For two Chinese people, one serving would be more than enough. â ïž Pro tip: Donât let the server order for you!
