🇩🇪 If you’re looking for a fun and affordable one-day city trip

Don’t miss Leipzig—the City of Music in Germany! 🎵 Getting from Berlin to Leipzig is super convenient. If you take the regional train (slow train), it’s about 2.5 hours 🚆. And guess what? Transportation won’t cost you extra if you already have the €49 Germany-wide monthly ticket! There’s no fixed route needed—the city is compact, and attractions are concentrated. Just wander around, and you’ll cover most spots easily! One day is totally enough. Here’s what we did: Leipzig Main Station ➡️ St. Nicholas Church ➡️ Market Square ➡️ Old Town Hall ➡️ St. Thomas Church ➡️ St. Peter’s Church ➡️ New Town Hall 🏛️ St. Nicholas Church A fascinating church with neoclassical charm, featuring soft pink and green tones and palm tree-inspired designs 🌴 🎫 Free entry 🛕 Market Square & Old Town Hall A lively square! The Old Town Hall now serves as a museum. ⛪ St. Thomas Church Famous for its connection to Bach 🎶, this Gothic church is filled with stories of the composer. Right across is the Bach Museum. Church: Free entry Museum: €10 ⛪ St. Peter’s Church A large Gothic church—very quiet when we visited. Great to stop by if you have time or are passing by! 🎫 Free 🏰 New Town Hall A gorgeous building! Perfect for a quick photo 📸. 🌳 Leipzig is also full of beautiful parks! If you have time, take a relaxing stroll—it’s so refreshing. Since many attractions are free and travel is covered by the monthly ticket, we spent only €50 for two people including food, drinks, and fun. Super affordable! P.S. The bubble tea in Leipzig is amazing—took me right back to China! 🧋❤️ #Leipzig #LeipzigTravel #DayTrip #TravelGuide #BudgetTravel ✨
