🇩🇪 Weekend in Leipzig, Germany 🎶🏛️
Top attractions in Leipzig: ⭐️ Bach Museum (Bach-Museum Leipzig) A modest entrance but packed with historical instruments, music exhibits, and interactive installations. Very impressive! 🎻🎹 Ticket: €10 ⭐️ St. Thomas Church (Thomaskirche) Bach worked here for many years and was buried here 200 years after his death. Sat right by his grave and listened to a full choir concert 🎶✨ – usually it's a boys' choir, but I caught a more formal performance. ⭐️ Karl-Liebknecht-Straße (Kara Street) A long north-south street full of cafes, restaurants, cool graffiti 🎨, and vintage shops. Visited on a rainy Sunday – a bit quiet but very atmospheric. ⭐️ Monument to the Battle of the Nations (Völkerschlachtdenkmal) Commemorates an 1813 battle. The structure is over 90m tall – climbed 364 steps to the viewing platform 🏔️. Great views and unique architecture! ⭐️ Leipzig Hauptbahnhof (Main Station) A stunning railway station 🚉 – was genuinely impressed, especially compared to Munich’s! Also recommend these two eateries: ⭐️ Café Puschkin Cozy vintage vibe ☕️ – had a lovely brunch here. ⭐️ Bagel Brothers A chain spot – enjoyed a tasty bagel 🥯 with colleagues. Lots of options! #Germany #Leipzig #Travel #WeekendTrip #LeipzigDiary 🇩🇪✨
