Something about the name "Amiens" just sounds melodic, doesn’t it? 😌 After procrastinating for over a month, I finally made the trip last Thursday—though I did miss my original train and had to buy a new ticket... 🚄 Quick & Affordable from Paris 1-hour TGV ride, student price ~€17.10 Instant vibe shift: Sunny, slow-paced streets (no Parisian rush!), instantly soothing. 🎨 Highlights of My Trip 1️⃣ Picardy Museum (Musée de Picardie) Free for under-26s (show ID at entrance). Eerily empty halls—until I found the room of giant sculptures... 👀 Noped out fast (anyone else get statue phobia?). Bonus: A 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea exhibit on the 1st floor! 2️⃣ Jules Verne’s House Cozy and fascinating: Original manuscripts, family portraits, and Nautilus sketches.
