đŸ‡«đŸ‡· Lyon French Cuisine | The Bouchon I Take All My Friends

On Xiaohongshu, Bouchon Tupin gets a lot of recommendations—I’ve tried it, but I actually prefer Daniel & Denise even more. How much do I love it? Let’s just say I took two groups of friends and my parents there within a month (at this point, I feel more Lyonnais than the Lyonnais themselves 😂). Everyone who visits says it’s amazing! Appetizers â–Ș PĂątĂ© en croĂ»te (Pics ) My absolute favorite! One of the best pĂątĂ© en croĂ»te in Lyon (I’ll share others in future posts) đŸ„§ â–Ș Os Ă  moelle rĂŽti et poĂȘlĂ©e d’escargots (Pic ) Roasted bone marrow + escargots. I’ve always loved these ingredients, and they’re incredible with bread đŸ„–â€”addictive! Main Courses A big reason I love this restaurant? The fried potato slices that come with mains are unbelievably good!! â–Ș Quenelle A classic bouchon main—I recommend it to everyone! It’s fish dumplings with lobster sauce, plus a few mushrooms and Ă©crevisse 🩐. Écrevisse feels like a cross between river shrimp and crawfish—so good, if you know, you know! â–Ș TĂȘte de veau Veal cheek—generous portions, super tender, but gets a bit rich toward the end
 If you want to try it, maybe order it as an appetizer instead! â–Ș I’ve also tried lots of other mains: a big pork platter 🐖 , lamb shoulder 🐏—all delicious! The salmon was just okay, though These are seasonal—usually on the blackboard or mentioned by the waiter. They’re a nice surprise when available! Desserts Personally, I think the desserts here are pretty average
 And I’m usually too full after mains anyway. If I do order one, I’ll pick sorbet to refresh my palate 🍹 📍 There are 3 branches, all awarded a Michelin Plate. I’ve been to all of them.
