Just wrapped up a 10-day, 9-night French escapade, with 4 glorious days in the South! Here are my top tips: 🚗 Transportation Easy & efficient! Grab a transport card/ticket/pass at Nice Côte d'Azur Airport’s kiosks. €2 card fee, but shareable between two people. 🏊 Swimming Pack 1-2 swimsuits—Nice and Antibes are perfect for dips! 📍 Highlights 1️⃣ Nice 🚴 Bike rental = MUST! Bike Trip shop: €18/day (mountain bike), €30 (e-bike). Return next day allowed! Cycle along the coast → even ride to nearby towns! 🍔 Post-ride refuel: Seaside McDonald’s €6.50 deal (2 burgers + snack + large drink). 2️⃣ Antibes 🥾 Scenic coastal hike (moderate difficulty). ⚠️ Part of "Baie des Milliardaires" might be closed—be ready to climb a gate if determined! 🏊 Swim breaks encouraged! Bring swimwear + towel. 3️⃣ Menton 🍋 Slow down & wander—pastel buildings, hidden alleys, lemon charm! 4️⃣ Monaco 🏙️ Skip Monte Carlo’s glitz (unless you love casinos/shopping). 🏰 Head to Monaco-Ville (Old Town) instead: Medieval vibes + cliffside views.
