Just about 1.5 hours by train from London! 🚄 I first heard of Coventry in Sherlock S2E1, where Sherlock mentions the “Coventry Plan” to Irene Adler 🕵️. This day trip wasn’t about history, but it was full of lovely little discoveries! ❤️ Coventry Cathedral CV1 5AB Stunning cathedral!! 😍 The colorful stained-glass windows are absolutely mesmerizing—I could stare at them all day! Right next to it are the ruins of the old cathedral. Perfect for photos on a sunny day ☀️. A must-visit! ❤️ Herbert Art Gallery & Museum CV1 5QP A unique and fascinating art space 🖼️. Free entry—just walk in! You can see the famous painting of Lady Godiva here (hers is a touching and intriguing story—worth a Google!). Lots of thought-provoking artworks too. ❤️ Coventry Transport Museum CV1 1JD A museum full of vehicles from different eras 🚗🚌🚲. It’s really interesting to see how transportation evolved over time. Definitely worth stopping by! 🥩 Jinseon Korean BBQ CV1 5SQ Super tasty Korean BBQ 🥩🔥! It had been ages since I had some—the flavor was great and portions were generous. That area feels like a mini Chinatown—there’s even a hotpot place nearby.
