๐ฌ๐ง Second UK Trip๏ฝFruit Heaven in Leicester This Winter! ๐
No idea why I picked Leicester tbh โ just felt like exploring somewhere new! ๐ Arrived downtown around noon ๐, way too early for hotel check-in. So I wandered toward my hotel and stumbled upon the local market. OMG, the lively shouts of vendors totally wiped away my travel fatigue! ๐ The market was UNREAL โ fruits cheaper than chips! ๐ Giant box of grapes: ยฃ1 ๐ 2 boxes of strawberries: ยฃ1.5 ๐ Honeydew + pineapple: ยฃ1.5 ๐ฅ Whole tray of avocados: ยฃ1.5 ...and raspberries, mulberries, apples, pears, pomegranates, lemons โ almost everything was only ยฃ1-2! ๐๐๐ I grabbed grapes, strawberries, and oranges and headed to the hotel. ๐ The grapes were crispy, sweet, and twice the size of the ยฃ1 pack from London supermarkets! ๐ The oranges tasted just like mandarins back home. ๐ The strawberries were literally HALF the size of my fist โ juicy and sweet! ๐ I bet in summer, thereโll be loads of ยฃ1 giant boxes of cherries ๐!
