🇬🇷 Athens, Greece｜You Must Visit This Beach!

🏖️ Kalamaki Beach is less than 10 km from downtown Athens. A taxi costs around €10-13, or you can take a direct bus (just Google it!). If you’re tired from exploring the city, head there around 4 PM – lying on the beach watching the sunset is a perfect way to unwind. You can also bring your swimsuit and towel for a dip in the waves 🌊. Since I recently visited the thermal baths in Budapest, I skipped swimming and just enjoyed the sun. ☀️ The ocean breeze in October is quite strong, so bring a jacket – it gets chilly at sunset! 💰 Cost: Front-row sunbed: €20/person Second row onwards: €15/person Front-row double bed: €50 for two Food and drinks are optional but worth trying! I ordered a pineapple-flavored cocktail (light alcohol, highly recommended!) and a mango mocktail – both delicious. The food is also great! Greeks really know how to relax 😌 – some restaurants open at 1 PM, others close by 4 PM. They prioritize personal life and family time over making money.
