Afternoon: Panathenaic Stadium 🏟️ – The only stadium built entirely of marble! Student ticket: €5 (with audio guide). Climb to the top for a view facing the Acropolis 🏛️. Explore the marble sculptures and Olympic exhibition hall. Don’t forget to step on the winner’s podium! 🥇 Acropolis Museum – Allow at least 3 hours. Even that feels rushed! 🖼️ Evening: Dessert at Stani (Marikas Kotopouli 10) – Try Greek yogurt & rice pudding! 🍚 Dinner at Geeon Tea – Spicy malatang & grilled sausages 🌭. Avg. €10-15. 🗓️ Day 2 Morning/Afternoon: Temple of Olympian Zeus 🏛️ (Entrance at Athens 10557) Arch of Hadrian Acropolis – Route: Erechtheion Base of the Statue of Athena Promachos Temple of Athena Nike Monument of Agrippa Parthenon Temple of Rome & Augustus Enjoy the breathtaking view of Athens and other ancient sites! Roman Agora of Athens Hadrian’s Library Ancient Agora of Athens – Allow 2-3 hours if you want to explore in detail. Monastiraki Square – Souvenir street 🛍️. You can even buy goddess figurines! 🚨 National Archaeological Museum: Closes at 3:30 PM daily (except Tuesday). We arrived 30 mins before closing—had to skip it. Evening: Lycabettus Hill (Wolf Hill) 🏔️ – Stunning view over Athens. Climb stairs or take the cable car (€12 round-trip, enclosed cabin).
