🇬🇷 Athens Food Review Diary
Here’s everything I ate in Athens! Referenced some guides beforehand – ended up mostly eating grilled skewers and noodles 🙂↕️ Personal reviews with prices in EUR for reference~ 🔹 Street Souvlaki 💰 ~€10/person Greek skewers – highly recommended! Served with naan (very filling). Only chicken/pork available that day 🥲. Verdict: Solid! €2/skewer. Limited seating – might sit outside. 🔹 Shiraki Athens 💰 ~€20/person Japanese ramen – tried udon & sushi. Portions small (might leave hungry), but tasty. Not mind-blowing though 😅. 🔹 Athena's Cook 💰 ~€20/person Greek cuisine – shared a meat platter (beef/pork/chicken) with bread, BBQ sauce, and mayo. Very filling! 🔹 EKIBEN KITCHEN 💰 ~€20/person Ramen spot – few seats (book ahead!). Izakaya vibe with loud music 🫠. Highlights: Noodles + pork cutlet sandwich + peach-infused low-alcohol drink! 🔹 Karamanlidika 💰 ~€15/person Highly recommended Greek food! €1 cover charge includes water, bread, yogurt, cheese, and beef appetizers. Beef/chicken dishes were delicious with free bread! Slow service – go early to avoid crowds. 🔹 VIETNAM STREET FOOD 💰 ~€20/person Pho! Had spring rolls, dumplings, and noodle soups. Shrimp soup had tomato notes – perfect for chilly days! 🔹 Bufala Gelato 💰 ~€7/person Egg waffle ice cream – served on a plate (to-go is handheld). Oreo flavor was too sweet/saucy. Also sells gelato and pancakes. 🔹 Funjoy Tea 💰 ~€5/person Bubble tea – tried green grape lemon tea (refreshing but sweet – reduce sugar!). Didn’t try milk tea 🥺. 🔹 Chatime 💰 ~€5/person Another bubble tea spot – large, chewy pearls! Pearl milk tea, passion fruit, and peach jasmine were all good. Lots of toppings! #Athens #GreekFood #Travel #FoodReview #EatWell 🏛️🍴✨
