Allow at least 2 hours to explore. 4️⃣ Monastiraki A vibrant area with Hadrian’s Library, the Ancient Agora, Stoa of Attalos, and a flea market! 🛍️ 5️⃣ Stoa of Attalos One of the largest ancient ruins besides the Acropolis — and the only fully restored ancient Greek building! Best visited on a separate day. 6️⃣ Syntagma Square + Tomb of the Unknown Soldier Come here for the changing of the guard! 👮‍♂️ Soldiers wear traditional uniforms and move in perfect sync. The full ceremony on Sunday at 11 AM is especially impressive. 8️⃣ National Garden A green oasis with lush plants, birds, ponds, and even a small zoo 🦚🌿 — perfect for a relaxing afternoon walk. 9️⃣ Panathenaic Stadium The only stadium in the world built entirely of marble! 🏛️ It hosted the first modern Olympic Games. 🔟 Mount Lycabettus We hiked up before dawn for sunrise — totally worth it! 😂 The view of Athens waking up is unforgettable.
