Allow at least 2 hours to explore! 4️⃣ Monastiraki A lively area featuring the Hadrian’s Library, Ancient Agora, Stoa of Attalos, and a bustling flea market. 5️⃣ Stoa of Attalos One of the largest ancient ruins besides the Acropolis — and the only fully restored building from classical Greece! Best visited on a separate day from the Acropolis. 6️⃣ Syntagma Square & Tomb of the Unknown Soldier Don’t miss the changing of the guard here! Soldiers wear traditional uniforms and move in perfect sync. The grand ceremony on Sundays at 11 AM is especially impressive 🇬🇷. 7️⃣ National Garden A green oasis filled with birds, flowers, ponds, and even a small zoo — perfect for a relaxing afternoon stroll 🌿. 8️⃣ Panathenaic Stadium The only stadium in the world built entirely of marble! It hosted the first modern Olympic Games 🏛️⛳. 9️⃣ Mount Lycabettus We hiked up before sunrise — totally worth the effort! 😂 Though the cable car wasn’t running yet, the panoramic view of Athens at dawn was unforgettable.
