🇬🇷 Los Angeles Greek Hidden Gem Restaurant 🍴
Alisa Wine & Friends Located near Venice Beach—super easy to find, just a 7-8 minute walk from the ocean! 🌊👣 My friend chose this spot for her birthday, and honestly, I didn’t have high expectations since I don’t eat Greek food often. But wow—it totally won us over! ❤️🍷 Wine lovers, you’re in for a treat: half of their four-page menu is dedicated to drinks, featuring everything from fine wines to special cocktails! 🍹📖 The interior is super Instagram-friendly, especially during sunset or in the soft morning light (though it can get a bit dim in the evening). The bar area at the entrance is also great for chatting, and many of the waitstaff are, ahem… handsome Greek guys! 😉👌 Sides: Greek Salad - 🌟🌟🌟 The cucumbers were refreshing and the olives tasty, but I found the cheese a bit too strong and salty. Worth a try, but no pressure if it’s not your thing! 🥒🧀 Mains: ・Octopus with Carrot Puree & Parsley Aioli - 🌟🌟🌟🌟 So tender and delicious! The carrot purée was mild, and it was topped with a light mustard-like sauce. 🐙🥕 ・Lamb Chops with Beef Jus & Tzatziki - 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Absolutely loved these! Grilled to perfection with that classic roasted lamb aroma—juicy, flavorful, and the portion was generous! 🍖🔥 ・Mezedip: Hummus with Cumin (forgot to snap a pic!) - 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Freshly baked bread with dip!!! Sooo good—the flavor had a hint of Indian spice but was uniquely delicious. Definitely order extra bread—it’s leavened and fluffy! Perfect with the lamb. We kept saying it hit all the right notes… just needed a sprinkle of cumin! 🫓✨ Address: 1009 Abbot Kinney Blvd, Venice, CA 90291 Parking: Street parking or valet ($14) 🅿️💵 #LosAngeles #HiddenRestaurant #UniqueDining #GreekCuisine #LALife #LAFood #LAExploration #LAWeekend #VeniceBeachEats #FoodieFavorite #WineLovers #BirthdaySpot #MediterraneanFlavor #CoastalDining
