By then, tour groups had left, and the golden sunset light on the columns was absolutely magical π. β Avoid 10 AM - 4 PM: Crowded + scorching heat! π« Tickets & Booking: Single Ticket (Acropolis only): β¬30 (Apr-Oct) / β¬10 (Nov-Mar). Parthenon doesnβt require separate booking. β οΈ The 5-day multi-site combo ticket was discontinued in April 2025! Free Days: March 6, April 18, May 18 (check official website for updates). Opening Hours: Peak season: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM Off-season: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM ποΈ How to Book: Official Website: (English available, buy e-tickets to skip lines!). Third-Party Platforms: Tiqets, GetYourGuide (small fee, but cancellable). On-Site Purchase (Not Recommended!): Long queues + possible ticket sales halt during peak season. πΈ Secret Photo Spots (Avoid Crowds & Scaffolding!): Right after entering the main gate ποΈ. Northwest corner of the Parthenon. South side of the Erechtheion. Top of the hill overlooking Athens π. On the descent β shoot portraits against stone walls with sunset backlighting π. Head to the opposite hilltop 30 mins before sunset for a full view of the temples! Many bring wine and enjoy the view here π·. β οΈ Blood, Sweat & Tears Tips: Book tickets in advance during peak season! Sun protection + windproof gear! Reapply sunscreen every 2 hours. Wear a wide-brimmed hat (with a strap!), sunglasses, and a light jacket. No heels or flip-flops! The rocky path is like an acupressure mat π . Wear anti-slip sports shoes!
