🇬🇷 Must-Visit Restaurant in Kalamata, Greece! 🍴
Restaurant: Kastraki -Meteoro (as shown on Google Maps). Nestled on a hillside slope, this place is built in cascading tiers so every level offers stunning unobstructed views! 🌄 💡 Pro tip: Call ahead to reserve a front-row table for the best experience. We emailed first but got no reply, so we called – unfortunately, only second-row seats were left. Still great, but front row would be perfect! 🍽️ What We Ordered: 1️⃣ Mushroom Dumplings (€13.5) Looks like Chinese dumplings 🥟 but filled with cheese! Rich and flavorful (a bit salty, but delicious). 2️⃣ Beef Short Ribs Black Angus (€23.5) Tender, slow-cooked beef – highly recommended! 👍 3️⃣ Crayfish Bolognese (€25) Pasta was slightly al dente for my taste, but still tasty! 🍻 Drinks: Kalamata is famous for olives and olive oil 🫒, but not so much for wine (maybe I missed out?). We tried their beer instead (€7 for 280ml). Too full for dessert – you’ll have to try it and tell me how it is! 😉 #Food #RestaurantRecommendation #RomanticDining #HiddenGems #ViewDining
