🇬🇷 Who Says Athens Has Bad Food? 😡 I Totally Disagree!! ‼️

I’ve been to Greece 3 times — and these restaurants never disappoint. You can order blindly here! ⚠️ Heads-up: Greek food tends to be salty — brace yourself 😉 🌟 Barbounaki (A chain — I visited one outside central Athens) Our first meal after arriving in Glyfada — we ordered 5 dishes for two people! Fresh ingredients, every bite was mind-blowing 🤯 Still reminiscing fondly… Totally worth it! 🌟 O Mpakalis The shrimp pasta was so good I had to compliment the chef 🍤🌈 Raved about on Google reviews — though the grilled meat and risotto were way too salty (like most meals in Athens 😅) 🌟 LIONDI Traditional Greek Restaurant A popular spot right by the Acropolis Museum — staff even know a bit of Chinese 🇨🇳 Crowded with tourists, but the food delivers — especially that amazing shrimp pasta! We weren’t too hungry, so we ordered two dishes + dessert. 🚫 Skip the dessert the owner highly recommended — way too sweet! 🌟 Avli My favorite risotto ever — crazy salty but incredibly fresh and flavorful! We walked here after visiting that photogenic spot from my last post. The area is lively at night — lots of cozy tavernas and wine bars 🍷 👮 Stay alert though — we saw riot police nearby when heading back. 🌟 Regal Restaurant When we’d had enough Greek food, we tried this upscale spot with international dishes. Missing Germany, we ordered the sausage platter — huge portion for two! Their fresh fruit/veggie juice is a must-try 💚 Perfect for the Greek heat — better than bubble tea! 🌟 Plus… We tried fried seafood & baby squid from street stalls — so satisfying! And spending days at the beach, lounging for just €5 — pure bliss 🏖️ #Athens #GreekFood #AthensEats #GreekRestaurants #FoodieTravel #GreekCuisine #TravelGreece
