The tourist map marks many attractions, but you can easily cover them all on foot in a short walk. Few Asian tourists visit—most just pass through—but its architecture is charming enough for a quick explore. 🚶♂️ City Walk Route: 💚 Train Station (with a stunning church right outside). 🔺 History Museum. 🔺 Main Cathedral 🔺 Bell Tower.🔆 Pedestrian Street (bustling at night with bars and music!). ✅ Small Harbor (700m east—the spot for Rijeka’s postcard views). 🔺Theater, Market & Modello Palace. 🔺 Seaside stroll back to the bus station 🏖️ Opatija - A Hidden Gem Just 30 mins west of Rijeka (take Bus ), this elegant seaside town was Empress Sisi’s favorite getaway. Highlights: Hilton Opatija: Off-season sea-view rooms from €100! 🔥Ružmarin Restaurant: Tucked into a hillside (no sea views but loved by locals).
