🇭🇺 Budapest's Favorite Korean Eats 🍔

1️⃣ Manna Korean Restaurant 🌟🌟🌟 So many reviews on social media, but maybe because I don't follow K-pop stars, my experience didn't quite live up to the hype. I didn't recognize any of the signatures on the wall. The spicy chicken feet are a must-try—they're perfectly deboned but super spicy. I can handle spicy food, but this made me cry a little! 😭 The signature fried chicken is also great—sweet and spicy with a crispy exterior, perfect for a meal. My friend's tteokbokki (rice cake noodles) were good too; the noodles seemed to multiply in the bowl! 🍲 We ate for a while but still felt a bit unsatisfied. The portions of the bibimbap and soups were a bit small for me. My boyfriend and I ordered spicy beef and kimchi tofu soup, but there wasn't much meat. We were full but not quite satisfied. I wouldn't recommend it for big eaters. One thing I wasn't happy about was that they only gave us one serving of side dishes for four people and didn't offer more. Shouldn't it be one per person? I probably won't go back unless I'm really craving those chicken feet. 😔 2️⃣ The Ryu Korean Restaurant 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Super recommended!!! Located near Corvin, their cheese power fried chicken is my absolute favorite—I've never had such delicious fried chicken even back home! 🍗 The first time I tried their bacon fried rice, it was amazing and the portion was huge, with that authentic wok-fried flavor! The luncheon meat and fried egg were super fragrant (please don't tell me where to buy the luncheon meat, or I'll be eating it every day!). The oxtail soup was rich and flavorful, with lots of beef tendons and plenty of meat. I took my boyfriend here, and he fell in love instantly. I even brought his colleagues, and they were all hooked! You can tell how authentic and delicious their food is. 😋 The beef soup has a miso flavor with lots of tofu. The side dishes are refillable and they give you so many that half the table is covered with them. Each one is delicious—my favorites are the fish cakes, tofu puffs, beef, and pickled radish. Plus, the prices are super reasonable! Go try it! 🎉 3️⃣ Hanaro Korean Restaurant 🌟🌟🌟🌟 Their pretty rice dishes remind me of something from "Dae Jang Geum" (Jewel in the Palace) I watched as a kid. A huge platter full of colorful ingredients is brought to your table. The set meals are very affordable and filling. I highly recommend the beef short rib soup and grilled pork belly set. The seafood scallion pancake is also great—the seafood and scallions are perfectly crispy on the outside but still tender and fragrant inside. This place is a great option when you don't know what to eat in the evening. It's cheap and delicious! 😋 #KoreanFood #Foodie #HiddenGems #VibeDining #NoHalfMeasures #BeautifulMeals #BudapestRestaurants #BudapestCuisine #RepeatVisits
