🔖 Kiskakukk Restaurant The best restaurant of our European trip! We arrived around 3:00 PM, not quite dinner time, so we just walked in. The location is in a cozy, residential neighborhood. Once inside, we noticed that most of the patrons were older locals. After checking the restaurant's history, we found out it opened in 1913 and has a great reputation. Our expectations for the food were sky-high! Goulash Beef Soup ⭐️⭐️⭐️ A classic Hungarian dish with a mildly spicy, tomato-based stew. It's like beef short ribs stewed with potatoes and carrots. After visiting the windy Fisherman's Bastion, this soup was perfect for warming up. Priced at around 4 euros, it's very affordable. Crispy Roast Duck ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I've had duck in both Asia and Europe, and I was truly amazed by the portion size of this roast duck. The skin is crispy, and the meat is tender and flavorful – definitely worth a try! The dish comes with potato pancakes instead of regular carbs, and beets to cut the richness. It's great for sharing; one person won't be able to finish it. Highly recommended! Roast Pork Ribs ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My partner was really into this dish. I tried a piece, and it was delicious – crispy and flavorful. The portion is generous, just like the roast duck, and it also comes with potato pancakes and beets. If you like ribs, give it a shot. Drinks and Juices ⭐️⭐️⭐️ As a big fan of fruit drinks, I randomly ordered apple juice, peach juice, and iced lemon tea. I also tried a cocktail, a Margarita, which was quite tasty. Overall, the atmosphere and the food combinations at this restaurant were great! During our meal, an elegantly dressed elderly local gentleman was having a lively conversation with his friends at the next table. When we left, they were still chatting away, making the whole experience feel like a scene from a movie.
