🇮🇹 Italy Travel Notes — Verona Chapter
🍕Verona, the hometown of Juliet from Romeo and Juliet, is not a typical tourist town, which makes it all the more charming for experiencing the local atmosphere. Dining 🥣Verona is quite small, similar in size to Ortisei, so most restaurants are within walking distance. 🥛 La Piazzetta Osteria Enoteca The restaurant has a lovely setting tucked away in a small alley. It was the most tech-savvy dining experience during our entire Italy trip—we ordered using a tablet 😉. 🍒One thing to note: if you order dessert, remember to select "serve after main courses," or you might end up enjoying your sweet treat first like we did 🧁… For mains, we tried the duck pasta and seafood pasta—both were delicious. 🍋Their desserts are also highly recommended! 🍄 Osteria Puntara The only drawback of this place is its limited seating, but we were lucky to walk in and get a table. The food, however, was flawless. We ordered cod simmered with cherry tomatoes, steak, and beef tongue. Their wine selection is also worth trying—they provide a booklet introducing each wine’s origin and flavor profile. #ItalyTravel #Verona #RomeoAndJuliet
