🇲🇨 Day 11: Monaco & Cannes & Nice

On the second-last day of our trip, we raced along the Côte d'Azur, conquering one country and two cities in a single day—Monaco, Cannes, and Nice. Now that’s what I call efficiency! 🚗💨 🏎️ First Stop: Monaco The world’s second-smallest country (after Vatican City) and a tiny "nation within France." Impressions: 1️⃣ Narrow streets (they’ve been reclaiming land from the sea!). 2️⃣ Endless hairpin turns—felt like a real-life F1 circuit! (Shoutout to our unshakable Polish driver.) 3️⃣ Ludicrous wealth 💸: Home to one of the world’s top casinos (€20 entry fee + dress code). Outside, supercars in every color zipped by—Lambos, Ferraris, and stealthy black Mercedes. Monaco: Glamorous, pristine… and slightly infuriating if you’re not a billionaire. 😂 🎬 Next: Cannes Another stunning seaside gem! Took the tourist train with audio guide, cruising from the promenade up to the hilltop castle and church for panoramic views. Why I loved it: Beachfront apartments with colorful retractable awnings (checked prices: €9K-12K/sq.m… nope). July = quiet (no film stars, unlike May’s festival buzz). The red carpet was smaller than expected, but the city’s charm? Big. 🌊 Final Stop: Nice Similar coastal vibes, but more laid-back. Visited Cap de Nice and Baie des Anges—both unreal. Just sat and stared, soaking in the bliss. The beach was full of families, dog owners, and… me with my parents! 👨👩👧 Nice at night? Magic. Slept like a baby. Bittersweet feels: Tomorrow’s our last day. Sad to leave… but grateful this journey ended in Mediterranean blue. 💙 #EuropeTravel #FamilyTrip #Monaco #Cannes #NiceFrance #Wanderlust
