🇲🇫 There's an Amazing Museum of Anthropology in Lyon, France! ❗
Last month, I visited the Musée des Confluences in Lyon, France. Completed in 2014, the Confluences Museum is a science center and anthropology museum located at the southern end of the Presqu'île district in the 2nd arrondissement of Lyon, at the confluence of the Rhône and Saône rivers. The three main exhibition themes are "Where do we come from?" "Who are we?" and "What will we become?" The architecture of the Confluences Museum is breathtaking: made of glass, concrete, and stainless steel, it stands like a lighthouse at the confluence of the Rhône and Saône rivers. It is 44 meters high, 150 meters long, 83 meters wide, and covers a total area of 22,000 square meters. 🏙️ This refreshing and extraordinary museum brings together scientific, technological, and social knowledge, covering the Earth, humanity, history, and geography. It is an excellent place for people to explore the world and the universe. 🌍 It is worth noting that the Confluences Museum has 2,500 well-preserved specimens, making it the largest collection of animal mummies in the world outside of the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. 🐘 Climbing to the top terrace of the museum to overlook the beautiful confluence of the Rhône and Saône rivers is incredibly relaxing. The confluence of the rivers is also a confluence of knowledge and history! 🌊 #France #Lyon #Museum #ConfluencesMuseum #Confluences #NaturalHistory #NaturalHistoryMuseum #Anthropology #Science #Mammoth #IceAge #Alps #MuseumVisit #CulturalSite #Travel #Artifacts #DayTrip #NationalGeographic #NotebookInspiration #DailyPlog #RomanticLifeRecorder
