🇲🇽 Saltillo | Weekend Lakeside BBQ

We had a lakeside barbecue at the park this weekend! 🍖🔥 To prepare grilled squid, I even learned how to clean squid and made fresh chili oil from scratch. Another "random" life skill unlocked! 🦑🌶️ The park is located at 📍Ciudad Deportiva Francisco I. Madero. We scouted it beforehand and found multiple BBQ spots - by the sports fields and lakeside. We chose the lakeside for its tranquility and cool breeze (though it was windier!). ⚠️ Note: There are only four lakeside spots - first come, first served! While the park provides grills, they're not very clean - better bring your own portable grill. We spent a perfect day enjoying the view, grilling, and feeding ducks 🦆. Right after we finished eating, thunder rolled in and it started pouring!
