My First Week in Saltillo, Mexico 🇲🇽

After a 10+ hour drive from southern Mexico, we arrived in this small capital city of Coahuila state. Though compact for a state capital, Saltillo punches above its weight with its thriving auto manufacturing industry 🚗 (hello, economic stability and relative safety!). Our first week was spent in an Airbnb while apartment hunting. Finally secured a place by Friday! Our angel landlord 😇 had: • Pre-frozen ice cubes ❄️ • Filtered water jugs ready • Fresh bedding installed True move-in ready perfection! Haven't made it downtown yet, but our neighborhood is packed with restaurants and malls - all just 10 minutes away by car. Food Highlights: 🍣 Sushiitto: BOGO sushi rolls Mon-Thu (~50 RMB/person) 🍗 Hotsome Chicken: My first authentic Korean fried chicken in Mexico (locals swear it's the best - they're right!)
