Day Trip Around Saltillo: San Antonio de las Alazanas
Finally visited the Mummy Museum we'd been talking about forever! While we only spent 10 minutes inside, the real magic was the breathtaking scenery along the way. 🌄 At 2,600m altitude, the landscape was simply magical: • Endless blue skies ☀️ • Fluffy clouds drifting over green meadows • Vast plains stretching to the horizon The perfect recipe for instant relaxation! The area is famous for its: 🍎 Apple, plum, and apricot orchards 🍯 Homemade jams and pies sold roadside 🌳 Massive membrillo (quince) groves - the deeper we went, the more the sea of green captivated us! The wooden cabins of Bosques de Monterreal nestled in the mountains looked like something from a fairy tale 🏡 - especially when the mist rolled in, adding an air of mystery. Our only regret? Not having enough time to fully soak it all in! Next visit, we'll: ⏰ Plan a longer stay 🚗 Pack a proper picnic 📸 Capture more of these magical views #MexicoTravel #HiddenGems #MountainEscapes #Saltillo #NatureTherapy #RoadTripVibes
