First stop on Royal Caribbean's Quantum of the Seas Nouméa is a tiny, scorching-hot island—way too hot to explore on foot! ☀️ 🚢 Quick Cruise Stop Guide 1️⃣ Disembarkation was smooth—no queues! Shuttle buses take you to the Visitor Centre (tour hub). 2️⃣ No phone signal 📵 (even for Aussie SIMs). Only free Wi-Fi at the Visitor Centre! 3️⃣ Hop-On Bus Tour (15 USD/20 AUD) - Hits 4 stops (10-min intervals): 🛒 Local Market (closes at 11 AM) 🏬 Small Mall (with a supermarket) 🏖️ Lemon Bay (Coral-strewn beach—ouch! 😅) 🐠 Aquarium (looked tiny) 🤔 Honest Take Pretty but boring—best for a quick photo op! 📸 9 AM to 12 PM was enough (we headed back to the ship early).
