🇺🇸🍽️ Louisville’s “Pretty Food” Adventure!
My lucky coworker scored a last-minute reservation at MeeshMeesh – a Mediterranean restaurant in Louisville with a months-long waitlist! 😱 We got to try their chef’s tasting menu, and I tagged along for the ride! 🎉 The name “Meesh” might come from the Arabic word “Mish” (apricot 🍑). The chef is even a 2025 James Beard Award semifinalist! 👨🍳🏆 Honestly, when my friends freaked out about the booking, I low-key rolled my eyes – “Americans and their ‘OMG this is so good’ over everything…” But wow, I was wrong! This meal humbled me. 😂💖 The restaurant was gorgeous – beautiful decor, fancy plates, warm vibe, and super attentive service. 👗✨ Everyone was dressed to impress! The standout dishes were the roasted cauliflower and the lamb – absolutely divine! 🥦🍖 The dips were also incredible – especially the veggie dip that reminded me of Chinese “Da Feng Shou” platters! I even joked about how where I’m from, green onions grow taller than people, and we have annual green onion competitions! 🌱😆 My friends thought I was making it up! The mocktails were so good, they got us tipsy on vibes alone! 🍹✨ It was the perfect Friday night! But real talk: If it weren’t for work reimbursements covering part of the bill, we probably wouldn’t splurge here ourselves… (well, at least I wouldn’t! 😉) #Louisville #MeeshMeesh #MediterraneanFood #JamesBeardAward #Foodie #PrettyFood
