🇺🇸|Petit Trois – Is This Really LA’s Best Burger? 🍔
Tried this French spot near Melrose for its famously photogenic burger and omelette! Big Mec 🍔 Touted as “LA’s Best Burger” back in 2016 – and it looks the part 😍 Sauce + cheese + patty combo is solid. Bun holds up well despite all the juice. Taste-wise? Good… but not mind-blowing. The sauce has a slightly bitter aftertaste (very classic Western style), and it gets heavy fast. P.S. The fries are delicious though! 👍 Omelette Petit Trois 🍳 Gorgeous runny omelette stuffed with Boursin cheese – so creamy! Comes with a light, refreshing side salad. Highly recommend 🌟 Burgundy Escargots 🥖 Garlic-butter snails with crispy baguette – absolute perfection ‼️ Buttery, garlicky, unforgettable. MUST order 🌟 Chicken Liver Mousse 🍞 Crispy bread topped with chicken liver mousse and balsamic onion jam. Sounds good… but the liver was SO gamey and overwhelming. First bite = okay, then quickly became unbearable. Not recommended ❌ Spring Salad 🥗 Fresh, light, and crunchy – the MVP that saved the whole meal from being too rich. Recommend! 👍 Vibe: indoor seating is just at the bar (dimly lit). Best for sunny days or romantic evenings 💡 Worth a try? Yes – but bring a friend and a salad. Not sure I’d return though.
