The Best Burger — Restaurant in Los Angeles

If a place is known for something like burgers, and they have other menu items, just stick to what they are best known for.

Got the red snapper dinner and the taco dinner. I should have taken pictures of the plates. The snapper plate - the fish seemed undone. Like it wasn't cooked through. They slapped the bread on the salad that had dressing and got dressing all over the bread. No one wants bread with salad dressing.

For the taco plate, it was a little sloppy and greasy. There was guac on the tacos even tho the description on the menu didn't mention guac - it said spicy sauce. There was sour cream in the rice and beans - never seen sour cream (only cheese) on rice and beans at any Mexican place, so that was a little off-putting. If I knew these were going to be on my food I would have asked not to have it on there bc I don't like either.

In hindsight, if a place is called The Best Burger and they have plenty of other menu items that are not burgers, maybe their burgers aren't that good. As "the best burger" place they should be making a killing off burgers and not need to add...

I ordered 4 burgers, 2 fries, and 1 onion rings for my fam. Everything (except the fries) was so salty. Salt was literally the only flavor we could taste. After spending $100 on it, I was given ONE small ranch dip. When I asked for more, I was told, “that’ll be an additional $1 for each, love.” …Really? You expect my whole family to eat all this with one ranch? And the one ranch was WATERED DOWN.

To make it worse, at the restaurant, there are two separate menus with different prices for the same items. The receipt I got wasn’t even itemized, so I have no idea what I paid for what. At that point, I was so fed up that I didn’t even challenge it. I just know that was my first and last time there. I’ll never be going back.

Oh and I called 30 minutes before and placed the order, got to the restaurant, and still had to wait an additional 15. I think they started making the food when I got there. There were no other...

Not the most visually appealing restaurant, but its a bit of a rough area so I expect that - good food - they should include an option to tip the staff with my card when I use a card and don’t have cash. The staff are always kinda rude and short when I call to order. Would be nice if they told me how long the order will take before hanging up too… whoever said their patties are thin is crazy cuz the patties are big! I can hardly fit the double cheeseburger in my mouth. I love the vegie burger, but sadly I can’t make it a double :( also, why do they cook so many different dishes if this is the best burger joint?? I suggest having a smaller menu, and doing what few items you have GREAT, instead of having 50 items for your cooks to remember, and doing an okay or good job. If that makes sense.
