Finally dined in at Chun Ji Soup Dumplings – a longtime favorite since their group-order days! 🥠❤️ Back when we pre-ordered via WeChat and picked up at 151, every bite felt like a warm hug. Now with their own brick-and-mortar spot, the quality hasn’t changed a bit – still the same juicy, crispy-bottomed, soup-filled delights we fell in love with. What we tried: Pork Soup Dumplings (Sheng Jian Bao) 🐖 – PERFECTION! Crispy base, tender wrapper, and a burst of hot, savory broth inside. Still the star here! Pork & Pickled Veggie Noodles 🍜 – Okay but not memorable. The noodles were decent, but the flavor was mild. New Noodle Options 🍝 – They’ve expanded the menu, but honestly – stick to the dumplings! The space is small, clean, and no-frills. We came on a weekday lunch and had the place to ourselves – no wait! Note: You’ll need to bus your own table after eating. If you’re craving authentic Shanghai-style sheng jian bao, this is still the place to go in Boston.
