Recently dropped by for some Shawarma after moving to the area, and have to say this is the best, most reasonably price shawarma place in the area. The staff are really friendly and the food is a decent sized portion. I had a chicken and lamb rice platter, which was really great, my only complaint is that there wasn't enough sauce with the hummus, but at $12, it wasn't bad for the area at all. The chicken and lamb weren't dry and there was plenty of flavor. On top of that, since I dined in, I got a free bottle of water with the meal. Also tried a slice of the baklava. It was humongous for $3.50. It was about the size of an iphone XR, and was the right mix of flakey-ness, sweetness, and a crunchy exterior and chewey interior. Am definitely coming back! They also offer a student discount if you go to Northeastern - wish I was a student again.

Excellent and quick service, but the food fell short. The plate was not worth $20. Fries were lukewarm, some were cold. They had clearly been sitting out for awhile and we're not fresh. The pita was thin and tough/chewy. It felt stale as well. The hummus was ok, good creamy texture but strong tahini flavor (not a fan). I wish it had a little bit of different flavor to it. Salad was ok, basic. Did not care for the garlic sauce, but their house spicy sauce was bomb! Falafel was pretty yummy. Rice was soft & tender. The chicken & lamb shawarma was tender, tasty and seasoned well. That was the best part of the plate. I expected more given the high ratings and reviews here. But it also appears they offer incentives for good reviews. *sigh* Id say the dinner plates are average, at best. The cashier was sweet and lovely, though.

Meh! I was so excited about this place, I'm mad. So at first when you see what you get yeah of course you're like wow this looks pretty great and what a portion, you'll probably think that from the pictures. If all you're looking for is to fill up then you'll be satisfied. If you're looking for real quality and flavor, you'll be disappointed. The salad was an incredibly sad display of a salad-all iceberg and a watery mess underneath and missing ingredients. The meal with rice was pretty decent but lacking flavor, as were the wraps, and the baklava was a sad excuse for baklava (my great papou would be horrified). The guy (possibly the owner?) who took our order was quite dismissive, bordering on rude. All in all-meh.

I understand this place has cheap menu and provide huge portions, but this place doesn't deserve such a high rating. It is a small place with a really congested sitting area. It is a self-service restaurant with disposable utensils. Hygiene wasn't maintained properly, though the lady at the counter was polite and helpful. We ordered a Falafel Avocado Plate. The rice on that plate was normal rice and didn't have any Mediterranean flavor. The falafel was raw in taste. The avocado was old and had brown spots on it. Other items that we ordered were Spinach and Feta Cheese Pie and a veggie sandwich. Both were bad in taste. Overall, I would never go to this restaurant and would never recommend anyone.
